The Girl With The Eyes

I baked cookies tonight. Chocolate chip. They turned out better than they usually do. I chock it up to the new recipe I used. Which you can find here. I didn't use flax seeds or coffee but I imagine they would be good as well.

So I had cookies and milk and watched QAF tonight, the first episode. God I forgot how little Justin was, and how awkward.

Does anyone else have trouble watching things where the characters are terribly awkward? I am having to pause so much because I feel so bad for Justin being his little awkward self. But it gets better right? I mean I don't remember cringing through the whole series the first time I watched it so he must grow out of his awkwardness at some point.

But my goodness people.

In other news, cramping gah.

And amazingly I wasn't kicked out of the Charlie Weasley last drabble writer standing contest last week either - and I'm a much bigger fan of this week's prompt than I was of last week, so maybe I stand a chance of not being eliminated again. We shall see. I'll poke you all when it's time to vote again. And I suppose when I am finally kicked out I'll post all my drabbles at once.

So before I go to bed for real, I need to make a quick squeeful post, because sometimes I wonder why I still have this lj.

So today, after yet another crappy day of work, I thought about checking the mail. I almost didn't because we never get anything but bills, and who wants more of those? But I stopped at the last minute and checked it and do you know what I had in there?
