Moving sucks
Dec. 16th, 2009 01:46 amBeen a little incommunicado I realize, but this moving stuff is srs bizniz. On more than one occasion over the past few days I have been convinced that i was going to die - now though I think my toes might just fall off.
Which I mean ... I wasn't really using them anyways. But still, I might one day.
Tomorrow is going to be the last day - of course we've said that the last three days and yeah .... not so much.
Waiting on laundry to finish before I can go to bed, cause, we really need some.

it is starting to feel like things are never going to go back to normal - we are never going to be finished with this move. we are never going to unpack everything over here, we are never going to have everything packed up at the old place.
I am just ready for it all to be over, I am sick of moving boxes over one carful at a time.

in less whiny news.... ummmm I've been listening to Adam Lambert's CD on repeat while unpacking and stuff recently and it does make things more happy at least.

Ugh... moving makes me indescribably tired. I am heading to bed right after I finish this.
Second night in the new house.
So far not haunted (my sister is disappointed as she was hoping we could call Sam and Dean to come take care of any haunting problems we had)
We're never going to get everything from the old house over here. there is no way it's going to happen. I mean dudes.

Just popping in quickly before bed to say thank you to everyone who sent me snow flakes today - it was a really nice surprise and made this hectic day just a little bit brighter.
The movers come in the morning, and tomorrow we shall be sleeping in the new house.
It's kinda crazy and the house is just in complete chaos right now - and it will continue to be so for a while longer I imagine. But....
The next time you see me I shall be in the new house - hooray :D

So I am moved onto the new place. On rooommate's computer for the evening, haven't set things up yet in my room.
But I am so glad to be in the new place. It feels so good to be in a place where people are nice to me :D
It's just really nice.

Been watching alot of it recently with the internet situation being what it is here at the house, and it just makes me so happy, the angst, the unspoken love, the reuniting, the happy ... it's just so so good, plus Justin's hair looks wonderful, lol.
I am in the middle of moving now, boxes have actually moved from one place to another. The big moving day is on thursday, new roomies mom and mom boy friend are coming up with a trailer to move all the big stuff (bed, couch, desk, chaise, book shelves). And I will be completely out of here by Friday.
I am so excited to start again, hopefully with a less psychotic roommate, and move on with life and job finding and just being happy again.
Miss everybody though, but hopefully the internet will be sorted out at the new place soon-ish, but job stuff is most important these days, so we'll see how it goes.
