Sooooooo I have decided to scrap my original idea for the [livejournal.com profile] apocabigbang and start over, and the draft is due on Friday!

HAHAHAHAHAHA

It's gonna be a busy next few days. But Write or Die is my friend, I've mostly been outlining tonight and getting a feel for the characters/story. It's still Star Trek but now it's AU, because I was having too much trouble fitting an apocalypse into a Kirk/Bones fic - I mean if it was a Spock!centric fic that could be a little easier cause hello Vulcan bye bye... but yeah I don't know how to write Vulcans so we're stuck with Jim/Bones (who I love).

here's hoping I finish! If I am scarce for the next few days you know where I am....

so the [livejournal.com profile] spn_j2_xmas assignments went out today, :D

I'm really pretty happy with what I got this year, I really liked my prompt and the resulting fic last year, and I'm glad this year will be something pretty different. I hope I can make something I like just as much this year.

it's almost time for me to post my [livejournal.com profile] rpf_big_bang art, next weekend, I'm kind of nervous and kind of excited. I really just want to get it over and done with, but I have a few more pieces to finish before I'm completely finished, but the end is in sight, and then I'll start on my [livejournal.com profile] startrekbigbang art which I am really excited about.

Need me some moar Karl Urban in my life.

Gah, Planet Earth is on right now, Great Whites eating unsuspecting seals, and seals eating unsuspecting penguins!

Fuck Yeah

Strawberry Milk.

That is all.

ETA.
I want to write a Star Trek fic (Bones/Kirk) that starts with the ending (ie. Death was easy blah blah blah) but omg it's twilight, minus shiny vampires and teen angst. It's all I can think of no matter how many times I try and start this fic.

I just want to write some Bones/Kirk, wah

No I am not silly enough to sign up for [livejournal.com profile] startrekbigbang no matter how tempting it is. I am having enough trouble with my [livejournal.com profile] rpf_big_bang to do something like that, though I am tempted to sign up as an artist - which would be a first, but I think that is something I could handle. But everyone else should sign up to write for it so I can read all the great fic that will happen. I'm still working my way through a lot of the [livejournal.com profile] spn_j2_bigbang fic, there are not enough hours in the day I tell you - which is probably why I am still awake at 4am.

Urgh, I really want to write my bigbang, I've got a lot of really good ideas for it, I have it pretty well mapped out the problem seems to be connecting the dots and filling in the blank spaces - plus I'm completely stuck on the beginning. I feel like I should just move past that scene and go back to it later, but apparently I am dumb and don't know how to go about moving forward in the story without that bit more solidified.

Still have a pretty decent amount of time before the drafts are due so I am still feeling like I can make this work, I just need a kick in the pants or something to get going on it. It shall happen, I have hope.

Oh dear

After just saying I don't need anything else to write, I've gone and gotten bitten by a Star Trek plot bunny, it's already being written in my head. Oh lordy.

So today ended up being a rather good day, I got to sleep in and I got to hang around the house without any interruptions. I got a card from my grandpa with some monies in it and then there was going out to a fabulous dinner at P.F. Chang's, we had a really great waiter who was fun and stuff and at the end of the night got us some free dessert to help us celebrate more - and my goodness was it good.

And then it was off to a late showing of Star Trek, and I loved it. It was fun and exciting and funny and so much pretty to be seen. I was very pleased with the movie and I'm glad we got to see it tonight.

And now I am ready to pass out, we're going to do family cake and presents tomorrow since we're all so sleepy - so yay for 2 day birthdays :D

Oh yeah and after my last post talking about how I switched back to a free account, I ended up being gifted with a paid account from one of my ex's - so yays for lots of icons and all the other things that go with it. I forgot how much I liked having so much room for icons and things - of course now this means I need to go and find new icons to fill up the space but I am okay with that.
