Voting

I voted today! In the early elections and such :D

Voting (along with donating blood) is one of my most favorite things to do. Standing in line, scanning your license, double checking the facts, the poll booths, the little old people volunteering trying to be helpful, the stickers.

The stickers.

This year though, the stickers are weird, they have that weird electronic voting machine on them and yeah. I miss my old stickers, this one is going to look so weird among my collection. Le sigh.

Also got a haircut today - chopped off all my hair again, even more than last time, I told the stylist that I am progressively getting shorter to work myself up to a true pixie cut - we shall see. This might actually be as short as I feel comfortable with going. But I really loved it when we finished up, and I loved it while I was out shopping, and when I was on the way to pick up my sisters.

And then my sisters see it, and their comments are: All your hair is gone and What happened to your head. Boo to stupid sisters.

Change

You guys I am so excited about today, well tomorrow(?), I dunno - Tuesday.

I am so ready for this change, I am so ready for a new mind to be in office and a new policy to start taking action in our country.

I don't expect Obama to be like some sort of Godsend, or some messiah, and I do expect things to get worse before they get better. But I do think they'll start heading the way of better at some point - and I am excited for that.

I am excited that we'll have a President who isn't mocked all around the world, and I'm excited that so many people are coming together under this one man who is going to be sworn into office tomorrow.

I am ready for change, and it's coming.

I would just like to say a few things tonight.

1. I am so glad this election stuff is pretty much over. I am tired of hearing about it.

2. I am so glad that Obama won. Because I think I seriously might have had a heart attack if that woman had been put anywhere near the White House.

3. I am so glad this election stuff is over.
