I was pleasantly surprised. If movies 4 through 6 had been this good, I would actually buy the DVDs and watch them again.

I loved how clear this movie made it that if it weren't for Hermione, Harry and Ron would have died years ago.

I agree, this was by far the best of the recent movies. It was a strong performance by everyone, and even if the decision to split the book into two movies was just to make more money I think it was so helpful to telling the story in a way that let us actually see the characters and the story actually being told.
