City of Austin Power sucks

acquiescenceMan today was an adventure.

Our electricity got turned off, and we dealt with rude customer service people until the problem was solved and made an appointment to get the power turned back on, this was all taken care of at about 2 this afternoon.
And then came 3, and 4, and 5, and 6.
I drove mom to work and then came back to keep my sister company in the dark house until other sister was home. And then we packed up the dead laptops in the dark and went out to dinner. And then to Starbucks.
And a few more calls to the electric company, and still no power at 9, and then 10. We came home at 10:30 and lit a bunch of candles, and the girls went to bed and 11 rolled around. And apparently that's the end of the business day and so we called and they made yet another work order to send someone out.
And finally at 11:59 someone let themselves into our backyard and turned the power back on. Seriously people, these guys were douchebags, and it was such a pain in the butt.
+ our dogs are the best dogs, even when they stink.
+ and now I need to pass out
