acquiescence: ([girls] hot legs)
You guys a Nordstoms Rack opened right down near my house recently, so we thought we'd stop in to check it out and see what it was like and all of that. I've only ever been to the one up north which I liked, but it's so far away living down on the South side and all that.

I swear I'm going to end up spending all my money on shoes there. I was just trying some on because I can't resist trying on shoes, I just love it and I ended up falling madly in love with a pair and had to get them. I need to get paid again so I can afford some more, seriously.

+ OMG I have killed myself for writing - one day I will learn how to procrastinate less. Today was not that day though.

+ Finished my Christmas shopping today

+ Got some cute boots at DSW today too

+ So exhausted it's not even funny

+ Have you filled out the christmas card poll? I'm going to do those this weekend.

my weakness

acquiescence: (so hip)
My father, for those of you who don't know, is a bit of an emotionally stunted person, and as such every year he does his best to try and buy our (mine and my siblings') love, once on our birthdays and once on Christmas.

And so he does quite literally give us money in exchange for love or ... at least not outright hate.

The only problem with this, is now I have all this money and it's burning a hole in my pocket. But it is nice to be able to afford things, like a few new clothes and books. And then of course there is my weakness - the clutch purse.

Why is it I find these little bags to be so tempting? I have 3 or 4 already, and the majority of the time I carry a big black hole of a bag for a purse. But whenever I see a cute clutch I am almost always driven to buy it. Had I brought more of the previous love money with me tonight I would be the proud new owner of this clutch, in black.

But alas. I am not that proud new owner, but I did buy Catch-22 tonight, since apparently Borders bookstore is selling oodles of books at super low prices right now.
