Last year...

+ I wrote over 100k
+ I participated in 12 big bangs with art or fic, in some cases both
+ I sat in traffic far longer than I've ever wanted
+ I turned 26
+ I went on a few dates
+ I got my own room
+ I had some interest in selling my paintings
+ I lost 60 lbs (so far)

Not a bad year really. I'm looking forward to things being even better this year.

2008 ... over all a pretty depressing year. I went through a pretty terrible breakup earlier in the year, I moved home to live with my mother again, I still haven't been able to find a real job in all the time I've been home, and all my friends now live far away from me.

*le sigh*

So I'm not really one for resolutions, I just want 2009 to be a better year.

This last bit of the year I've been working at making friends who actually live in the same city as I do, getting a real job, and moving my life forward instead of focusing on the past. I'm ready to start doing things rather than just spending all my time being upset about what has already happened.

So 2009, it will be the year of good things.
