Spring time the only pretty ring time
Apr. 8th, 2009 10:39 pmSo spring has sprung here in Texas ... well it's been sprung for a while. Anyway, the trees and things are all blooming and they are trying to kill me! My allergies are going crazy, and I'm spending most days with a constant pain in my head. Had a pretty wonderful migraine last night that sent me to bed at 9:45.
I am ready for summer, for blazing hot temps and swimming and snow cones and everything dried up and dead - can't be killing me with your pollen if you're dead.
We went down to see the bats tonight, we have the largest urban colony of bats in North America here in town, and since we have an exchange student staying with us these days we decided to take her down there tonight - it was pretty cool. Watching 1.5 million bats come out all at once. I wish I'd had a camera, or at least my phone to take some pictures.
But alas.
