fandom and bigbang

acquiescenceWell I only got a few hundred words added to the big bang tonight, mostly tonight was spent fact checking and doing more to map out the fic and up coming characters and things. I am still feeling like I might scrap all the work I did yesterday, I'll probably send it to a friend to read first since I generally think most of what I write isn't that great until the whole thing is finished. So we'll see.
In other news, that hate meme?
I was just hearing about it on a few other journals on my flist, but really it only seemed like it happened in passing and stuff. I think I heard more about it on twitter than here on lj. But I was silly and went to find it because you know I hear about SPN wank and craziness all the time but I've never really seen any evidence to support those sorts of things.
Honestly it was mostly full of lulz, but seriously if people have the time to sit around talking about how much they hate people they've never met on the internet then there is something seriously wrong with them. Maybe they ought to take a walk or something instead. I just think it's silly, name calling and spreading rumors about people you'll most likely never meet, what's the point?
Whatevs.
SPN has still been the greatest most welcoming and awesome fandom I've ever been a part of, and I loves it for all the great fic, writers, artists, and comms that it's introduced me to. I love the show, with all it's faults, and I love all the actors .... ever single one of them. So yay SPN!
