T-day

So yesterday was Thanksgiving - I have to say of all my Thanksgivings over the years, this one was probably the most disappointing. I woke up yesterday with the sudden urge to puke my guts out, which I did as soon as I was out of bed, and the sickliness continued throughout the day.

And so I didn't get to enjoy any of the food I'd been helping to cook the day before, the cheese cake! The turkey or potatoes or stuffing or green beans or gravy *le sigh*

I got to lay around the living room while the crazy family which had descended upon my house were loud and enjoying lots of wine and good food.

And of course, I am feeling perfectly fine today. So there shall be left overs as we hide in the house from the Black Friday crowds.
