The sun was warm ... no not warm, hot
Sep. 25th, 2010 01:14 amWell my flist is filled with SPN squee/reviews/and such ... I haven't gotten around to watching it yet. We had family night tonight, so we grilled and my brother came over and we did dinner and talked and played the wii fit for each others entertainment - heh. It was fun though, I'll get around to watching spn tomorrow I'm sure.
Umm... I might be participating in NaNoWriMo this year, I went to bed kind of early last night, but had some trouble sleeping, and then an idea kind of formed in my head while I was laying there, and I considered just going to sleep and trying to remember in the morning, but I know me and I would have definitely forgotten, so I flicked on the light and hastily wrote out a few jumbled words so that I would recall my great idea come morning.
I've been doing some world building and character outlines this afternoon, and I'm actually pretty excited. I've gotten my siblings and mother involved in helping me come up with character names and bouncing ideas off of them. My middle sister was surprised I wanted her to read something I'm writing, because she often sees me writing fanfic, but no way in hell am I letting her near that - but I think she liked being included. I'm sure I'll continue bouncing ideas off of them as I plan and outline in the coming weeks up to November.
1,667 words a day for 30 days doesn't sound nearly so daunting this year for some reason, though I've kind of had a hard time doing 300 a day in the past for the mini_nanowrimo that I've participated in. But I think write or die will be very helpful as will a good outline.
Soooo yes, look forward to that possibly happening in the coming months!

kradamreversebb, you do the art first which is then picked by authors for inspiration for stories - it'll be cool. I'm just doing art this round I think. I've got enough writing on my plate at the moment. But you guys should sign up, whether you're an artist or a writer, it'll be fun :)
