nilchance linked to an entry on DW which discussed some of the issues with Real Person Fiction (Stalking, RPF and Femmslash). It's really interesting, and the author makes a lot of good points.
And I just wanted to take a minute and talk about my own feelings about RPF, because more and more these days it seems that my main fandoms are RPF fandoms. RPF is what I read most often, and it is certainly what I write most often. And I've talked a little in one on one conversations about my feelings on RPF, just thought I might take a little time and write it out. I'm not adding anything new really to the discussion that has been taking place at the link I provided, I'm just putting out my own thoughts on the issue, specifically involving the SPN-RPF and the AI fandoms, since that is where I spend most of my time.
