Coming out part 1
Jan. 28th, 2010 08:18 pmSo tonight, I was watching an episode of Bones with my mother and sister. The story line was about a gay man who was killed, and in one scene they were interrogating a man who fell in love with the murder victim but couldn't make himself come out to be with him.
After the scene was over, my sister looked at me and told me to stop being such a homo lover. And my mother thought that was freaking hilarious. Apparently she's been trying to tell me the same thing all the time. And she tells my sister that she has asked me if there is something I've been wanting to tell her, and then she asked me again.
And so I just told her yes.
And then she changed the topic of conversation right after, and nothing else has been said about it since. Apart from another laughing session at my being called a homo lover - and all homos are going to hell.
