acquiescence: (spirited - waves)
We went bowling yesterday, I swear my roommate and a friend of ours are obsessed with bowling. And so I went with them because I've skipped out the last few times they went because I got bored of it. And I did pitifully - as always, the second game I ended up pulling out my copy of "The Picture of Dorian Gray" to keep myself amused while we bowled because I was getting frustrated with my very low score and the amount of gutter balls I was getting.

After bowling we decided to go to the drive-in - that's right we have a drive-in movie theater here in town, and in the 5 years I've lived here I've never been to it. And so last night we went, and it was glorious.

I wasn't really interested in seeing either of the movies we saw, Surf's up and Shrek 3, but it's the drive in, so I had to go. It was so excellent, we had 4 cars, with the windows rolled down and the radios turned way up, and we all sat in either the back of the truck, or in some fold out chairs we brought to watch the movie. And the whole time we could talk and laugh and just goof off and not have to worry about other movie goers.

There was much joking about other drive-in patrons, suggestions of broken legs as an incentive to be quiet, and general silliness.

And who knew West Texas nights were so cold. I figured with it being upwards of 95 degrees during the day it'd be you know kinda warmish in the night time, but no we were freezing last night. Another part of the amazingness of the drive-in.

And we got to see 2 movies for the price of 1.

And finally I would like to leave you with this. A friend was being ever so kind and helping me look for jobs tonight, when he stumbled upon what might possibly be the best job ever:

Counter Intelligence Agent!
