I think I should go somewhere else to write, too - I haven't managed to write anything that I didn't hate in ages! But I did find that I managed to write a lot while I was on a train, and I had to make the text really small so the person next to me couldn't tell what I was writing (I was writing the porny bit for my kradambigbang at the time). So maybe for me not staring at what I'm writing helps?

I also really love Q10, which minimizes all distractions and comes with a nifty typewriter sound, which I love. :D

I'm so tempted by one of those mini laptops. Maybe if I get an actual paying job. :)
