1. Each player starts with eight random facts/habits about themselves.
2. People who are tagged need to write their own blog about their eight things and post these rules.
3. At the end of your blog, you need to choose eight people to get tagged and list their names.
4. Don't forget to leave them a comment telling them they're tagged, and to read your blog.
and since it was
sparkysparky who tagged me, I will do this meme ... because I loves her ... and maybe if I do this, she'll stop with the suspense and post the rest of my birthday fic, haha.
random facts about the Mal
1. When I eat M&Ms I like to dump out the entire bag and the sort each by color and then by number, and I eat from one group at a time, until each group has an even number of M&Ms and then I eat them one at a time until they're all gone.
2. If my parents hadn't gotten a dog before I was born, I would have been named Sharona after that lovely song. But as it was, they got a dog first and she was the lucky winner of that name and I was named after Michael J. Fox's younger sister on the show Family ties.
3. My favorite book ... The Mirror and the Lamp ... a book on critical literary theory, especially in the Romantic period of British literature. It's true, I am a nerd. My idea of fun is doing sentence structure trees and then being amazed at the well formed sentence.
4. Though I am one of the whitest people you'll ever meet, I am actually half hispanic. My younger brother, proud of his Mexican heritage, decided it'd be cool to put our last name on the back window of his car in Old English script. It was pretty amazing, especially as we have a pretty obvious hispanic last name - and then you see this white boy get out of the car.
5. I didn't get my driver's license until I was 18 years old, though I'd been driving almost 6 months before that. And I think that is why I have this like deathly fear of police men while I am driving.
6. I met my last boyfriend online - it's true. We met in a chatroom, and did that online dating thing and then we met in person and dated like that for a few years until he moved to my town. And then we broke up and he moved back lol.
7. I was a cheerleader once ... surprising but true. In the 8th grade. We even won third place in a state wide competition. I got a black eye once from catching a girl, because all the other girls in our stunt group ran away as she was coming down so I caught her elbow with my eye, all in all it was very considerate of me.
8. I claim to be mostly vegetarian ... though the truth of the matter is ... I eat meat more than I care to say, lol. My mom freaks out when I tell her that I'm a vegetarian so I eat meat to make her feel better, and then I live in West Texas ... so people are like "Steak!" So occasionally I have to have some steak to make people feel better. And sometimes it's just a hassle when you're poor to buy stuff to be a veggie so yeah. But I've been doing very well recently, lol.
and so that's that ... I'm not going to tag anyone, because I'm silly and I'm sure everyone will have been tagged by now, because that's how these things work.
But if you haven't been tagged and you're reading this, then consider yourself tagged now!
the end.
