Me and Mondays are so over.

I'd like to tell you about my morning so you can kind of get an idea about the day I've had.
I woke up at an hour before the alarm, convinced I was going to miss it, and subsequently woke up about every 10 minutes until the alarm went off. It was dark and stormy and thundery outside and all I wanted to do was pull the covers over my head.
But I got up and got dressed and went downstairs to wait with my mother for my sister so we could all pile in the car - where we got to sit in traffic up to the school to drop off the sister, before turning around and sitting in more traffic to drop off the mother.
And then I drove home, but I had to take the long way home because omg have I mentioned the traffic?
Along the way home there is this turn, it's the sort of turn that isn't so much a turn as it is a 90 degree angle pretending to be a slow sloping turn one that you don't really need to slow down much for because it's residential so you're all ready going just 30 mph, so maybe you slow it down to 20.
I slowed it down more than that because it was raining earlier and I have this thing about driving in wet conditions. So it was somewhere around 15mph that I took this turn and then the whole world ended.
Well no, but there was major hydroplaning and my life flashed before my eyes and I was convinced I was going to flip the stupid minivan and people would have to see my horrible morning hair and I hadn't brushed my teeth yet and just ... yeah.
So it was a left turn, when I came to a full stop I was facing back in the direction I'd come.
All before 8:30am.
